The two largest food-tech companies Swiggy & Zomato also announced that they will layoff about 1,541 employees. Zomato wrote to the company's staffers that around 541 people have been asked to look for new jobs because the numbers of restaurant is expected to shrink in the next 6-12 months. Whereas, Swiggy announced they let go off 1,000 employees.
